Installation

The same path for every Paraflex plugin. Product-specific setup stays in that product's guide.

    Download

    Sign in with the email you purchased with, then open the download center. Products you own show an installer for Windows, and for macOS an Apple Silicon build and an Intel build.

    Run the installer

    On Windows, extract the archive if you received one, then run the installer inside. On macOS, open the package and follow the prompts. A newer installer can be run over an existing copy.

    Rescan in your DAW

    Restart the host so it picks up the new plugin. If it still doesn't appear, run the plugin scan from the DAW's preferences.

Your account

Downloads are tied to the account, not to a link in an inbox. Sign in with the same email you used at checkout.

  • Download center. paraflexaudio.com/downloads lists every product. Owned ones offer Windows, and on macOS a choice of Apple Silicon or Intel. You can download again whenever you need a fresh installer.
  • My Products. The same installers, plus license keys, are under Account → Purchases.
  • Purchase email. After checkout you get an order confirmation with your license keys and a button to the download center. Keep that email. It is not the installer itself.
  • Ambitura subscription email. A new plan sends the tier, the monthly Cloud AI credits, the machine allowance, and the same download link. Credits, billing, and cancellation stay in the account.
  • Activation. Plugins ask for the license key from the email or from My Products. Ambitura signs in with this account. A license key appears there only if one was issued, and the app accepts it from “I Have a License Key.”
  • Updates. When a new version is published, that email goes to the account address. The download center and My Products always serve the current installer. Run it over the copy you already have.

If an Ambitura subscription has expired, the download center asks you to resubscribe before the installer is offered again.

Where VST3 plugins go

Plugins ship as VST3 for any 64-bit host that supports the format. The installer places them in the standard folder.

Alchemy also installs as a standalone app. AAX for Pro Tools is not available yet. Each product page lists the formats and systems it actually ships.

Ambitura is not a plugin

Ambitura is a desktop application. It does not appear in a plugin list. Its installer, sign-in, and machine limits are covered in the Ambitura guide.
